2015 diary: two European events on virtualization

2015 will be another great year for the fields of virtualization and cloud computing. Many projects and actors will be rubbing shoulders at conferences this year. The largest events of the year include Cloud Expo Europe on 11 and 12 March next in London and VMworld 2015 from 12 to 15 October in Barcelona.

Cloud Expo Europe

Cloud Expo Europe is undoubtedly the most important and most eagerly awaited event in the world for the cloud sector. Over the course of two days, the event brings more than 300 solution vendors together, come to demonstrate the newest features and stakes of their latest technologies and services. More than 300 experts in the field, ranging from leaders of the largest companies in the world to technical gurus, will take the floor during these conferences and seminars.

The buzz word for speakers at this 2015 edition will be “security”. From end users to client companies, the subject will be covered in depth and an entire exhibition hall will be dedicated to it. Fill in this form to register for free.

VMworld 2015

VMworld is divided between Europe and the United States. The first leg will take place from 30 August to 3 September in San Francisco and will then move on to Barcelona on 12 October. The main theme of these conferences, more focused on industrialized virtualization solutions, will be solution transparency and flexibility. The call for papers is still open and applicants may submit their conference proposals through 24 March next for both segments of the event. Participant registration for Europe will be open through 9 June 2015.
