According to the publisher, the strengths of the solution are its usability and its ability to be customised to meet different needs. All Drupal extensions can be integrated into Opigno.

The respective communities Claroline LMS and Spiral Connect launched the beta version of ClarolineConnect. According to a "chat" between Marcel Lebrun (Claroline) and Christophe Batier (Spiral Connect) in February 2013, which was broadcasted on http://dev.claroline.net/, the objective of this new platform is to focus on the handling of the tool by the students so that they can manage forums, wikis, blogs ... The concept of an"activity space" is thus preferred over the traditional teacher / student opposition.

ClarolineConnect also integrates social networking features. This new version of the platform has also been made more ergonomic.
